Course content:
A range of First Aid for Mental Health related subjects are covered including:
Understanding and implementing Mental Health First Aid
Identifying mental health conditions
Providing advice and starting a conversation
Mental health conditions including anxiety and depression
Recognising signs and symptoms in ourselves and others
Promoting a positive workplace culture
Methods of delivery:
Each of the three levels builds upon the training received in the preceding level, offering a seamless progression. However, participants also have the flexibility to begin their training at a higher level if their experience is deemed sufficient. This interactive and engaging learning experience with Tutor led presentations, films and group work can be delivered ‘face to face’ or online.
